RuffLand Performance Kennels feature a one-piece, roto-molded construction that creates a stronger, more rigid shell than traditional wire or multi-panel crates. This design helps protect dogs during travel by reducing weak points and maintaining structural integrity in the event of sudden stops or movement. The kennels also provide a secure, enclosed space that keeps dogs comfortably contained while minimizing shifting during transport.

Paws Pickup is 9 feet tall.

Either one!  Paws PickUP charges by the mile, regardless if it’s one way or a round trip fare, so you can cater the trip to best fit your needs.

Paws PickUp may be canceled the same day up to 2hrs before the trip timeframe.  If the trip is canceled within the 2 hour window, you will be charged for the full price of the trip.  If you do not show, meaning when we come to pick your dog(s) up or meet you to drop your dog(s) off and you or your designated guardian are not present, you will be charged for the full price of the trip plus 25%.

Yes. If we are picking up or dropping off dogs from the same household, the second and third dog’s fares are at half off.  Member discount only applies to the first dog’s trip fare.

Yes, Paws Pickup can accommodate almost any sized dog.  The only breeds that we cannot accommodate are XL Giants (Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, English Mastiff).  Any other sized dog, big or small, we can accommodate.

Yes, your dog is in a crate, but it’s designed to feel more like a safe, secure den than a traditional wire crate.

Yes, we will do everything imaginable to make sure your dog’s trip is not only safe, but also comfortable.  Each crate is equipped with a thick memory foam pad.  Each crate is also equipped with shock absorbing feet to help stabilize your dog’s ride.  Paws Pickup is equipped with added air conditioning to keep your dog(s) comfortable.

We go above and beyond to make sure your dog(s) has everything they need and more to have a comfortable stay with us! We have suite sizes to accommodate any dog, with plush beds and blankets, TV screens for stimulation, and an extensive list of a la carte items to enhance their stay even further. Paws Pickup can be booked through the Paws & Pints app or by contacting the Mo’Tail & Spaw desk at 515-969-BARK. 

Yes, someone must be home in order for Paws Pickup to drop your dog off.  We will also meet you at your place of work or a designated meeting location but the dog owner or approved guardian must be present and able to receive delivery.

Yes, there are added fees for things such as early or late pick up and drop off, same day scheduling and extended wait time.

Yes, we will notify you via SMS about applicable milestones along the journey.  Paws & Pints is not responsible for any text rates that may apply.

Paws Pickup drivers will be drivers over the age of 25 and with valid driver’s licenses.  Paws & Pints will only task our most responsible staff members with this service.

Yes, the Mo’Tail & Spaw and Paws & Pints Members receive a 10% discount.

Is it in good working condition?  Paws Pickup is a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter 2500.  It was part of a dealer trade in program and has an extended warranty up to 100,000 miles.  The van has also had upgrades for added ventilation and air condition, ease of cleaning and to accommodate our kenneling system.

Yes.  If any dog needs hydration during the journey, we will absolutely provide water.

Yes, Paws Pickup is well equipped with all items to administer first aid and each driver is CPR certified.  Paws Pickup also has an emergency policy and drivers are trained on what to do if something out of the ordinary were to occur.
